Commissions

I am happy to announce that I am currently accepting commissions. So if you would like a hand drawn portrait of your furry loved one, or perhaps to give as a gift, please get in touch.

All portraits are lovingly drawn in colour, using only the highest quality pencils and paper and come ready mounted. All my pencils are Faber Castell polychromos and the drawings are created on grey Pastelmat.

Each portrait takes between 30 - 45hrs work. 

Prices and sizes

Please note the dimensions listed are the approximate picture size. Each commission is supplied with a double grey mount, which will increase the overall size by 4 inches in length and width.  

SIZE for 1 Animal (Head and Chest)

  • 8" x 10" - £235    (Mounted 12" x 14)
  • 10" x 10" - £265   (Mounted 14" x 14")
  • 10" x 12" - £295  (Mounted 14" x 16")
  • 12" x 12" - £315  (Mounted 16" x 16")
  • 14" x 14" - £355  (Mounted 18" x 18")
  • 12" x 16" - £355  (Mounted 16" x 20")

SIZE for 2 Animals (Head and Chest)

  • 12" x 16" - £395  (Mounted 16" x 20")

Sizing may differ slightly depending on the view/pose of the subject. Professional custom framing is always recommended.

If you would like a different size to those listed above, please get in touch. A non-refundable deposit of £30 is taken at the time of booking to be entered into my calendar.

If you are local, you are welcome to collect your commission from my studio just outside of Thetford. For UK delivery I charge £12.50 postage and packaging and the Commission will be sent tracked 24hr and require a signature. For worldwide shipping, please contact me.

Photography

My portraits are created from your photographs and so in order for me to create an accurate, vibrant drawing, the photos that you supply need to be clear, in focus and high quality.

I enlarge each image in order to try and capture as much detail as possible and so the digital photo that you supply needs to allow me to do this. The quality of the photo really does impact the quality of the drawing. Try to avoid strong shadows across the face or harsh lighting. Natural light on an overcast day typically works best. Furthermore, please ensure the eyes are clearly visible as they are key in allowing me to really capture your pet’s soul.
